 Tim
Donahue was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
September 7, 1955;
Admitted to the bar in 1982,
Alabama U.S. Court of Civil Appeals, Eleventh Circuit
United States Supreme Court, 1997.
Education: University of Alabama (B.A., 1977)
Birmingham School of Law (J.D. 1981). While in
law school, clerked for the Honorable C.W. Callaway and
upon graduation from law school, started working as a
litigator specializing in civil defense.
Mr. Donahue has been named a Top 40 Under
40 by the Birmingham Business Journal, Who's Who In
American Law, a Fellow of Litigation Counsel of America,
an invitation only trail lawyer honorary society
consisting of less than one-half of one percent of
American Lawyers; listed as Preeminent Lawyer and has
received his AV designation from Martindale-Hubbell.
He has been listed as an Alabama Super Lawyer for 2009
and 2010. He has tried over 75 jury cases to conclusion
and specializes in governmental and municipality
liability law, as well as construction litigation and
workmen's compensation. He is a frequent lecturer to
various business groups, governmental entities and trade
associates around the Southeast.
